SWART AMP FUSE RATINGS

These are the latest fuse ratings for all amps as of 2023. It's a good idea to have a backup fuse in case of an issue. Some of the amps have a single fuse within the bayonet holder which would be a 30mm long fuse. Most have TWO fuses, one short 20mm SLOW BLOW in the IEC socket and the other HT fuse, 30mm (1.25"/31.4mm) at 500ma or 250ma and a FAST BLOW. Make sure your amp has the latest spec fuse installed and for backup. Note that ALL HT fuses are FAST BLOW. All single fuse amps and IEC are SLOW BLOW.

First thing to look for with no power or anything lighting up is the FUSE. Often it will also point to a tube issue, perhaps with the power tubes or rectifier. But sometimes a surge will take it out. See the compartment with slot for small screwdriver to open at right. Combo/Head amps with single fuse will will be under bayonet twist lock. ~ kh
