 DIFFERENCES FROM CLOTH ST-6V6se
The most obvious differences between the cloth covered ST-6V6se and the Formula 1 is the painted wood chassis vs the cloth covered chassis. Aside from the aesthetic difference, you have a subtle sonic difference as well. The Formula 1 has a slightly more live sound as you can hear a bit more of the wood chassis in the mix. The cloth in the ST-6V6se serves to curb some resonance. Although subtly different, each has positive aspects and the sonic differences are quite slight. Electronically, the two units are exactly the same with the same options available. Ultimately, it's a matter of aesthetic preference with the slightly different tonal colorations of the cabinet with and without cloth.  -  VIEW BACK
