Space Tone 6V6se - To AlNiCo or not...
Class A - Single-Ended - 6V6 Powered
- NOS 5Y3 Tube Rectified 100% Hand built
This
Space Tone 6V6se will be a special offering. IT will literally
be a ONE OFF ST-6V6se with no other version like it. This will
be the only model with this covering. And see our AlNiCo Options
below!

The ST-6V6se employs a 500v heavy duty, surface mount JJ Power
Supply Cap for excellent filtration and ultra sweet carbon composition
resistors instead of the more sterile metal. Coupling and tone
caps are Orange Drop and Sprague, both reliable and SWEET sounding
with good tone. And this select vintage oval covering is a definite
eye catcher.
As always, each and every ST-6V6se is hand-wired and covered personally
by MichaelSwart.
What does this mean? It means you are getting a custom, hand-built,
hand-wired product, each bench tested and burned in, signed and
numbered by Michael. This is no assembly line, made in China,
robot pressed, particle board clone.
Lastly, you have the opportunity to make a SPEAKER upgrade
from the Jensen MOD to the vintage Jensen AlNiCo Reissue
or the excellent WEBER AlNiCo Sig 8, two VERY hot speakers
with some serious tone and the BEST high volume distortion there
is; There is nothing like the breakup quality of a good AlNiCo!
The Jensen duplicates the original Jensen AlNiCo right down to
the materials, machining, and specs. Price? Just add $50 to the
price and the Jensen will be all ready to go in your ST-6V6se!
The WEBER Signature 8 is another AlNiCo from one of Swart Amplifier's
favorite speaker companies. The price will be on special! For
this auction, the Weber AlNiCo Sig 8 is only an additional
$35!
Although
we LOVE the little MOD 8, these AlNiCos are the HOT setup; the
combo has some heavy bite, great disotortion, clarity, and the
all important tone. These beasts take no prisoners. While not
quite as warm as the MOD, the AnNiCo packs a punch amd has better
high volume breakup due to the properties of AlNiCo. It's a viable
upgrade, worth the ducats.
Pulbic Response? The ST-6V6se has caused quite a stir at Michael's
lastest shows with TJH.
He is running the little amp in tandem with the upcoming Swart
Amplifier Co. 30w, all TUBE, choke laden, tube reverb~ tube vibrato,
master volume entry. The combination of these literally brought
everyone from the soundman to bandmembers in the audience to inquire!
The first question is "Who does those amps?" This is
quickly followed by, "Man, how do you get that sound!?"
